Project monitoring Number 2
Ive edited my main photo (large model in the prom dress-shes large to show importance and confidence) in photoshop, using the adjustments tab: auto tone, auto contrast and auto colour. Then i altered the brightest and contrast myself to make the models skin look brighter and more defined. Then i placed the image in InDesign and added an unsharp mask. Ive also had to be very careful when enlarging the images to hold sown the shift button so the images don't become distorted or stretched. Ive also had to adjust the image quality on InDesign to highest quality so my images don't become pixilated.
I then created a Polaroid affect with my other featured photos and added a drop shadow to them to make them 3D. I then rotated the images to add a slanted retro affect, the polariods are also slightly uneven sizes to mirror the narrative of the unstable teen featured in the photos.
i then downloaded fonts and added them to my network space so i could use them on any computer, unfortunately i cannot find the fonts and the current fonts displayed i am unhappy with. The font needs to be larger. I am happy with the structure of the fonts as it displays the 'downwards step effect' i previously wanted. The question mark I've placed directly above the models head to show the confusion of the model.
I've inserted a notepad image and edited the colouring and embossed the text, learning new skills of layering of an image and how to put images over one another. This may seem a simple step but im growing more confident using the essential tools on InDesign.
